Become a Central Florida Changemaker!

Thanks to support from Amazon, the YMCA of Central Florida is offering high school students (grades 9-12) the opportunity to propose a project that addresses a critical issue/need in their communities.

Interested high school students can work together to design and submit a Changemakers Project to the submission deadline of Saturday, March 19, 2022. Your project will need two (2) Project Leaders but can be supported by as many additional students as needed.

One project will be selected to represent their local community during the final 3 days of the YMCA Youth Governors Conference in Washington, D.C. from June 15-17, 2022.

During the conference, the two student leaders from the project selected by will present their proposal to our YMCA Youth Governors, who will then choose 3 projects to receive $5,000 in funding.

Submit Your Proposal

To submit your project for consideration, all project leaders must complete two steps:

Step 1: Project Leader Registration
Each of your 2 (two) Project Leaders must submit this registration form individually. Your project will not be considered without submission of this registration form by both of your leaders

Step 2: Project Proposal
After completing Step 1 individually, both Project Leaders should then work together to submit their Project Proposal.

Deadline: Marh 19, 2022, at 11:59 PM PT
